| Facebook Conducting Surveillance of Anti-Terror Groups |

For months, anti-terrorist groups and individuals operating on Facebook have claimed that the popular networking site was watching them. They claimed that their Facebook pages and groups, as well as their off-Facebook websites (in the cases of those that have them) were being constantly visited by Facebook. The Jewish Internet Defense Forces (JIDF) has released screenshots of its website's tracker, showing users with Facebook IP addresses visiting their website. According to numerous sources, Facebook has been "constantly" visiting the JIDF's fan page on Facebook and its website. On July 7, hours after a press release by the Anti-Terrorism Coalition (ATC) broke the news of Facebook's massive assault on anti-terrorists operating on their site, Facebook visited the ATC Website. It has been returning multiple times a day for the past several days. The ATC easily traced the referring URL of Facebook's first visit to the JIDF fan page, where a link to the very same press release had been posted! Additionally, there is reason to believe that Facebook operatives used proxy servers in order to mask their subsequent visits. Should this be true, Facebook is watching the ATC Website like a hawk, just as it does with the JIDF fan page and website. This, of course, helps explain how Facebook has been able to target anti-terrorists with such great speed and force, as witnessed in its banning of ATC member Jack Turner – who was banned 10 minutes after he had logged in and simply joined 20 – 30 groups that had belonged to Infidel Forces (IF). Meanwhile, terrorists, pro-terrorists, radical leftists, anti-Semites, anti-Americans and other haters appear to not only have no problems operating on Facebook, but are also off its radar – as Facebook generally needs a lot of public pressure to "notice" these hostile groups, leave alone take them down or ban the users that administrate them.
